Bộ sách Bụt Sử Lược Biên Thiệt Truyện là một ấn phẩm Phật giáo Quốc ngữ rất sớm, in tại Sài Gòn năm 1913, thuộc nhóm sách hiếm phản ánh rõ giai đoạn chuyển tiếp của văn hóa đọc Việt Nam đầu thế kỷ XX. Bộ hiện gồm 2 quyển liên tiếp: quyển nhứt và quyển thứ nhì, đều còn bìa gốc, thông tin nhà in rõ ràng, và giữ được phần nội dung kết thúc nguyên bản của từng tập.
Quyển nhứt kết ở trang 31 với dòng chuyển tiếp sang quyển nhì, trong khi quyển thứ nhì kết ở trang 57 và tiếp tục dẫn sang quyển thứ ba. Điều này cho thấy đây là một phần của bộ nhiều tập, được biên soạn theo lối truyện kể liên hoàn nhằm thuật lại cuộc đời Đức Phật theo hình thức gần gũi, dễ tiếp cận với độc giả phổ thông thời bấy giờ.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Bụt Sử Lược Biên Thiệt Truyện is an early Vietnamese Quốc ngữ Buddhist publication printed in Saigon in 1913, representing an important moment in the development of vernacular reading culture in southern Vietnam during the early twentieth century. This set currently includes two consecutive volumes: Volume I and Volume II, both retaining their original wrappers and original closing pages.
Volume I ends on page 31 with a note directing the reader to Volume II, while Volume II ends on page 57 and continues onward to Volume III. This confirms that the work was conceived as a multi-part narrative set, presenting the life of the Buddha in an accessible serialized format intended for general readers rather than for strictly scholastic use.

Quyển nhứt và quyển thứ nhì đều còn trang kết thúc phần nội dung của riêng từng tập. Tình trạng chi tiết vui lòng liên hệ thêm hình ảnh.
